Apollo Brass

  About Apollo Brass
Apollo Brass was formed in 1995 by four of Boston's outstanding young freelance musicians. Since then, they have pleased Boston audiences with their rich, finely blended sound and exceptional musicianship. The name Apollo Brass reflects the group's commitment to classical ideals of beauty, balance, discipline, and form. The group specializes in music of the Renaissance era: a time of rediscovery of these ideals, and a true Golden Age of brass music.

*Donations will be accepted to benefit music education at the Gamaliel school of Bethany Baptist Church in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. The Gamaliel school is a thriving Christian school which would like to hire a Haitian music teacher to run a music program at the school. We hope to raise approximately $3,000 to fund the hiring of a Haitian music teacher for two years as well as some needed supplies. Any additional money raised by the concert will be used for humanitarian services in Haiti.

Directions: Westgate Church is located at 100 Winter Street in Weston. Winter Street runs south from Route 30 (east of Route 27 and west of Route 95/128). The church is located just south of the Massachusetts Turnpike, but Winter Street cannot be directly accessed from the Turnpike. From the North or East, take Route 128/95 to Route 30 W. Stay on Route 30 west, pass Weston HS on the left, go through the next light, and take a left a few hundred yards ahead onto Winter Street. Stay on Winter St., go over the Ma Pike, and Westgate will be on the left. From the west, take route 30E and take a right onto Winter Street. If you come to Weston HS, you went too far.
